*** This listing is for one handmade silicone taper candle mold designed with snowflakes.
please check the video to see how to demold.
( this design is updated with bigger & thicker snowflakes, the model is 3D printed which has some light lines) )
*** This mold may come with two short cuts for easier release.
*** You will need a diy a mold holder, the mold won’t be able to stand still by itself.
*** tips to make good tapers with this mold:
1. Make sure your wick is centered.
2. warm up your mold with heat up before pouring.
3. Beeswax is recommended, (suggest to pour around 175 F )
4. demolding ( push & pull method): wait till the candle is completely cool! push the mold down to release the end, push the bottom of the the candle out a little, then hold the bottom to pull the candle out.
*** Finished candle size: about 10” tall, the base is about 7/8” wide , each candle weighs about 3.4 ozs.
( you may need a candle shaver/ sharpener to make the bottom smaller to fit in the holder)
wick suggestion: square braid #2/0
*** Tools you may need to make candles: heat gun, 15” long wicking needle, mold holder, toothpick/ needle for holding the wick.
*** Not suggest for container soy wax which may stick to silicone and it would be too soft to get the candle out.
