Originally designed for beeswax candles, but used by many candlemakers for all types wax. Gives a slight curl when the wick burns that results in minimized carbon build-up and enhanced combustion.
Rough guide:
#5/0 is Suitable for small pillars that is about 1- 1.5” wide and many mini tapers.
#2/0 is suitable for medium sized pillars around 2” wide.
#1/0 is suitable for pillar size around 2.5” wide.
#2 is suitable for pillar around 2.75“ wide
#5 is suitable for pillar around 3“ - 3 1/4” wide
