Introducing a handcrafted double-spiral taper mold, featuring an original model that was designed and fabricated entirely from scratch by TheHandmadeCharm.
**This mold comes with 1 long split for easy release.
A finished candle is 12” long, 3 ozs, fits in standard sized taper holder.
*** This mold won’t be able to stand up well by itself, please use a mold holder.
*** This mold might be a bit tricky for beginners, to make a successful casting we suggest:
1. warm up the mold very well before pouring.
2. use pure beeswax, other wax may not work.
3. pour liquid beeswax slow & steady at around 180F. 4. demold when the wax is still slightly warm. ( if you demold when the wax is very cool, the thin spiral pieces may break)
You won’t get a good detail if the wax or the mold is too cold or if you pour too fast .

Similar hand rolled double spiral tapers on market are selling for over $35 per pair, this mold makes a solid piece with the same elegance but burns much longer.
Note from Jun: I tested the mold many times to make sure it works, but it’s not for everyone due to the thin spiral pieces. If you are getting this mold, please follow the instructions.
